As a Compressor Systems Service Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnosing and addressing technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and delivering top-notch service to customers. Responsibilities of the Compressor Systems Service Technician: Assist in conducting daily equipment inspections to identify and address issues with compressed air and vacuum equipment before they escalate. Support in performing annual and semi-annual maintenance and testing on compressed air and vacuum systems. Be available for on-call duties during and outside of regular working hours. Assist in programming and troubleshooting microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls. Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve customer-reported technical problems. Aid in the startup and troubleshooting of compressed air and vacuum equipment. Foster positive client relationships. Serve as a technical support resource for customers. Work closely with company sales representatives and management to boost service and aftermarket business. Be ready to travel locally to assist other company technicians if required. Complete daily reports and maintenance checklists. Qualifications for a Compressor Systems Service Technician: High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude. 1-2 years of experience in a service-based organization is beneficial. Solid mechanical and problem-solving skills. Good communication, customer service, and consultative abilities. A strong work ethic with the ability to work under limited supervision. Reliability and punctuality. Basic computer and service software familiarity is advantageous. Possess basic hand tools, and having an electrical meter is a plus. Be willing to travel within the local area daily. Ensure accurate and timely completion of assessment and forms related to the MDS including but limited to Braden, Skin Grids, Admission, Falls, Restraints, Side rails, AIMS, Bowel and Bladder, etc. Participate in daily Interdisciplinary Team standup and Utilization Review meetings. Provide input and assist in completion of Medicare Certifications/Re-certifications, managed care updates and pre-certifications, NOMNCs/ABNs, DENCS/KePro appeals and any other requests for information for reimbursement. Work with the nursing team to assure thorough and appropriate documentation that meets all regulatory guidelines. Oversee and assist in the ongoing Triple check process assuring completion per facility policy and guidelines.
